JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – Mercer Volleyball sweeped the ETSU Buccaneers on Friday to start conference season 3-0.

The Bears did a great job of limiting their own mistakes while being efficient when it mattered, recording a .280 hitting percentage across the three sets. Mercer's never say die attitude showed itself again, as they went down 22-18 late in the first set and came through in the clutch to tie the set at 24 and later took it 27-25. The Bears used the momentum from that first set to take the next two in swift fashion.
