Decisive Plays:
Brant Baughcum jumpstarted the scoring early in the first inning with a two-run home run (3). The Bears worked station-to-station the following frame to tack on four more runs. The Golden Eagles responded with a three-spot in the home half of the second to cut Mercer's advantage in half. A Jackson Rooker RBI single and a two-run double by Owen Lee tied the game, 6-6, in the third. Titan Kamaka continued his hot start to the season with a three-run homer (2) in the top of the fourth inning. Tennessee Tech scored eight runs in the home half of the frame headlined by three home runs. Logan Shepherd plated Michael Graziano with an eighth-inning RBI double.
