After leading the Bears to their best start in 155 years of their program's history, the all-time winningest coach in Mercer baseball history is one win away from 750 career wins since taking over as skipper in 2004.

Kennesaw State heads into the midweek matchup on a five-game winning streak including a 10-7 win over then No. 4 Georgia in Athens last Tuesday and a series sweep over conference rival Delaware.
The Owls have four batters hitting .300 or higher. Cooper Williams leads the way with a .360 average while Jackson Chirello follows closely behind at .348. Chirello also leads his team with eight doubles.
Daniel Powell has been the definition of consistency out of Kennesaw State's bullpen. The junior reliever has 12 relief appearances on the year and leads the Owls with a 1.98 ERA. Powell has struck out 30 batters across 27.1 innings.
