Troy, Ala. – Mercer Volleyball fell to the North Alabama Lions on Sunday in three sets at Trojan Arena to close out the Troy Invitational.

The Bears (1-2) jumped ahead early in the first set, but a late surge from North Alabama helped them take the first set. The Lions maintained their momentum to take the second set. Mercer tried to regain control early in the third set, but North Alabama showcased their resilience to come back and secure the match.

MATCH REPLAY
SET 1 I 21-25	The Bears jumped out to a 4-1 lead and maintained the advantage for most of the first set. The Lions kept the set close and eventually tied it at 15 apiece. North Alabama took control, and after a bit of back-and-forth action, the Lions won eight of the final 11 points to take set one.
SET 2 I 12-25	North Alabama maintained control into the second set, taking a 9-3 lead early. Despite the Bears winning the next three points, Mercer could not find a way to close the gap further, dropping the second set.
SET 3 I 21-25	The Bears showed signs of life early in the third set, taking a 5-2 lead before the Lions earned the next four points. North Alabama held onto the lead to win the third set and the match.
