Carrollton, Ga. – Mercer Volleyball dominated the final three sets to complete the reverse sweep against the West Georgia Wolves on Saturday night.

The Bears struggled early in the match, dropping the first set without touching the lead and later going down 2-0 to West Georgia. However, the momentum switched in the third set, as Mercer went on to outscore the Wolves 65-38 to take home their fourth win of the season.

MATCH REPLAY
SET 1 I 16-25	The Wolves came out firing, taking an 18-10 lead to start the match. The Bears rallied off five of the next six points to bring the deficit down to four, but West Georgia earned the next five points to win the first set 25-16.
SET 2 I 22-25	West Georgia maintained the momentum early in the second set, as they carried a 9-5 lead. Mercer went on a five-point run later in the set to take a 12-11 lead, but the Wolves fired back to make it 17-14. Another five-point rally for the Bears brought gave them a 19-17 lead, but West Georgia took eight of the next 11 points to win the second set 25-22.
SET 3 I 25-15	The Bears came out with something to prove, scoring the first six points of the set and carried that early momentum to take an 11-2 lead. The Wolves attempted to battle back into the set, but Mercer shut the door, winning the final three points to take a 25-15 set win.
SET 4 \| 25-15	The Wolves took the momentum back in the fourth set, using a five-point run to take an early 7-4 lead, but the Bears responded with a six-point run of their own to establish a 10-7 advantage. The Wolves had no real answers to Mercer's new signs of life, as the Bears went on to win the fourth set 25-15.
SET 5 \| 15-8	Mercer maintained the momentum early in the fifth set, jumping out to an 9-3 lead. West Georgia responded with a three-point run, but the Bears earned six of the next eight points to win the set and the match.
