Men’s Golf Finishes The Golfweek Fall Challenge Tied For Fifth

PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – The Mercer Bears concluded their first competition tied for fifth place out of 16 teams at True Blue Golf Club in Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
Ryan Curran shot the low round of the day for the Bears with a one-under 71 and five birdies. Phillips Swift ended the competition tied for seventh place individually after shooting even par and finishing as the only member of Mercer's squad to shoot even or better in all three rounds.
Cooper Franklin ended his first collegiate competition tied for 17th individually after shooting a four-under 68 on the second day of the competition. Lukas Latrup ended the tournament tied for 61st and Ethan Dufresne ended tied for 68th in their Mercer debuts.
Mercer continues its fall slate at the Sandestin Collegiate Classic, which is scheduled to take place from Monday, September 14 through Wednesday, September 16 at the Raven Golf Club in Destin, Florida.
