David McDaniel is in his thirdseason as the equipment manager and video coordinator at MercerUniversity.
McDaniel is in charge ofpurchasing, inventorying and issuing all the athletic apparel andequipment for Mercer Football and Lacrosse. Aside from his appareland equipment responsibilities, McDaniel is in charge of all videoservices for football.
McDaniel comes to Mercer fromGeorgia State University, where he served as the assistantequipment manager for its football program for three years. Whileat Georgia State, McDaniel was responsible for laundry, equipmentissuance and maintenance, game day operations and practice set-upand tear down.
Prior to his work at Georgia State,McDaniel worked as a video assistant for the Georgia Force of theArena Football League and served as an assistant video coordinatorfor three years for the Liberty University football team.
McDaniel graduated from Libertywith a bachelor’s degree in sports management in 2009 andearned a master’s degree in sports administration fromGeorgia State in 2012.
