2014 at MERCER: Played in 10 games as a sophomore in the defensive secondary and on special teams … Recorded five tackles on the year (3 solo, 2 assisted) … Ranked second on the team with two interceptions and 17 interception return yards … Tallied one tackle and his first career interception in a win over Stetson (Sept. 13) … Followed that performance with two stops and an interception in a victory over Ave Maria (Sept. 20).
2013 at MERCER: Saw action in 11 games during redshirt freshman season … Tallied two solo tackles in a victory over Berry (Sep. 21) … Recorded one of Mercer’s two blocked kicks on the year … Also broke up two passes.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a three-sport star, lettering in football, basketball and track at Alpharetta High School in Alpharetta, Ga. … Under head coach Jason Dukes, helped lead the Raiders football team to its first-ever playoff appearance in 2010 and a 6A Regional Championship in 2011 … Was named Offensive Player of the Week four times during his career and was voted the Pat Watson Spirit of the Raider award winner as a senior.
