Kyle Bedrosian enters his first year as a volunteer assistantcoach on the Bears coaching staff after a three-year career atMercer as a player.
In addition to his day-to-day administrative responsibilities,Bedrosian also helps supervise the teams academic progress andorganizes the team’s travel arrangements for road tripsduring the year.
On the field, Bedrosian will work with the Bears pitching staff,both starters and relievers, as well as the team’s outfielddefense.
“We are very pleased to add Kyle to our staff thisseason,” head coach Craig Gibson said. “Kyle comes froma great baseball family and has been with our program for a whilenow, so we look forward to the added dimension he will bring to ourstaff.”
No stranger to success on the diamond, Bedrosian was a player onthe Bears teams that earned three-straight number two seeds in theAtlantic Sun Tournament from 2006-08.
Bedrosian received his undergraduate degree from Mercer in thesummer of 2008 and has already finished his masters of educationfrom the Tift College of Education at Mercer University in December2009.
Bedrosian currently resides in Macon.
