Bears Sweep Young Harris, 7-0

MACON, Ga. – Mercer's men's tennis team earned its second victory of the season with a 7-0 non-conference win over Young Harris College.
The Bears (1-2) started the day by sweeping doubles play to win the first team point. David Barton and Pierre Tefelski won at first doubles, 8-2, while Peter Tauchner and Evandro Rosindo followed suit with an 8-3 win at No. 2. Fernando Armendaris and Guilherme Frias were winners at No. 3 doubles for the Bears.
At singles, MU was just as dominating by winning all six matches in straight sets. MU dropped just eight games total, including just one in the Nos. 4-6 positions.
