Mercer Softball Announces December Softball Clinic Dates

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer softball team has announced dates and times for their annual December softball clinics, which are held at Sikes Field. The clinics, beginning on Dec. 14th and ending on Dec. 15th, will feature eight sessions, all coordinated by Mercer softball players and staff.
"We are really excited about this camp," co-head coach Stephanie DeFeo said. "We have added a few new sessions that are very unique and it should help us identify some top players that we hope will be attending."
The clinics cover several important topics, such as pitching, catching, and hitting. There will also be two clinics, The Mercer Bear Way and A Day in the Life of a Mercer Bear Softball Player, that will cover topics such as athletic training, strength and conditioning, college academics, and team practicing. Both days will close with a game simulation showcase, which will allow attendees to participate in a game and show off their skills.
These clinics are offered to girls ages 8-18 years old, and cost $65 for a single session, $120 for two sessions, $150 for three sessions, $225 for five sessions, and $240 for six sessions.
