Women's Golf Tied for Fifth After Day One of Seminole Match Up

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Three Mercer women's golfers posted a score of 74 to finish day one of the Seminole Match Up at Southwood Golf Course in an 11 way tie for 12th on Friday.
Katy Harris, Haley Austin, and Mary Alice Murphy all ended the first round of the three day tournament 2-over par. Their efforts helped Mercer to a tie for fifth with Virginia. As a team, Mercer shot 298.
Lacey Fears chipped in with a 4-over 76 and Marin Hanna rounded out the five Mercer golfers with an 82.
Hanna will lead off the Lady Bears tomorrow morning with a 9:10 tee-time.
