JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The Mercer University men's soccer team used a goal late in the game to pick up a 1-0 win over East Tennessee State on Saturday night.
TURNING POINT
Will Bagrou scored for the Bears in the 77th minute after the Bucs' goalie corralled a cross, and Conner Antley challenged the keeper, causing him to drop the ball. Will Bagrou registered both of Mercer's shots on the night and scored the game's only goal. The goal is Bagrou's third of the season and first game-winning score this year.
STAT OF THE GAME
