
Ian Antley Named SoCon Player of the Week

MACON, Ga. – Mercer University men's soccer player Ian Antley was named the Southern Conference Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday.
The junior scored a goal and added an assist in two games as the Bears went 1-1 to open SoCon play last week.
On Tuesday, Antley scored the tying goal in the 63rd minute of action on a penalty kick in an eventual 2-1, overtime loss at UNCG. He followed that up by assisting on the game-winner in double overtime against Wofford on Saturday as the Bears claimed a 2-1 win over the Terriers.
The award is the first of Antley's career.
Mercer continues conference play tonight, when the Bears host the Furman Paladins at 7:00 p.m. at Bear Field.
