Softball Announces 2015 Summer Camp Schedule

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer University softball coaching staff announced the 2015 summer camp schedule, featuring a three day Cubs Camp in June and two Elite Camp days in July.

Cubs Camp: June 1-3, 2015
Elite Camp 1: July 20, 2015
Elite Camp 2: July 21, 2015
The Cubs Camp will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the on-campus home of the Bears, Sikes Field. Open to players ages 5-12, the camp focuses on the basic fundamentals of hitting, throwing, fielding and catching and will include pool time in the afternoons.
The Elite Camps are broken down into four sessions and run from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Open to players ages 12-18. The four sessions will focus on pitching or catching, hitting or slapping, defense, and a game simulation showcase.
Campers will be grouped by age and ability level and will receive individual attention from the Bears' coaching staff.
The cost for the Cub Camp is $125. Admission will take place on a first-come, first-serve basis. The camp is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender). The Elite Camp cost $65 single session, $120 for 2 sessions, $150 for 3 sessions, $180 for 4 sessions, $225 for 5 sessions, $240 for 6 sessions, $280 for 7 sessions and $300 for 8 sessions.
