Stevens Named To NFCA All-Region Team

MACON, Ga. – Mercer University's Kirsten Stevens was named to the NFCA Division I All-South Third Team for the 2015 season.

The sophomore was named the SoCon Pitcher of the Year and an All-SoCon First Team selection after posting a 26-10 record, and leading the conference with 26 wins and 221 strikeouts. Stevens also set Mercer's single-season wins record after picking up three in the SoCon Tournament.

Stevens helped lead the Bears to a 37-22 record, finishing 10-7 in regular season conference play. The 37-22 record post the third best winning percentage in program history, while the Bears' conference tournament second place finish matches the best finish for Mercer since the programs establishment in 1986.
