
Men's Tennis Falls to Troy

FT. WALTON BEACH, Fla. – The Mercer University men's tennis dropped a 4-0 decision to Troy on Thursday afternoon.
Troy took a 1-0 lead in the match after winning the doubles point. The Trojans won the first three singles matches in straight sets to clinch the match, 4-0.
At the time the match was called, Nicolas Guillon was leading 4-2 in his third set at flight two and Sam Philp had just won his second set at flight one, forcing a third set. At flight six, Fernando Guardia was tied 6-6 (8-8) in the second set as he attempted to force a third set of his own.
Next up, Mercer will host Wofford on Saturday, March 12 at 2:00 p.m. in the Southern Conference opener.
