2017 (Junior):
- Last Season: Singles record 17-8 (at #2 most of the time) Doubles record: 9-15 at #1 (playing mostly with Olivier Stuart)
- Singles 5-2 at #2, Doubles 3-4 at #1 partner with Olivier. Named first team for the southern Conference and second team in doubles with Olivier.
- Fall 2017: won the mercer gridiron classic singles championship. Made history for mercer tennis program for being the first nationally ranked player (No.121 in the Oracle ITA Division I).
- The only player from the southern conference to be ranked on either the men’s or women’s side.Â
2016 (Sophomore):
- Played the majority of the season at the number one spot, notching a 9-12 record.
- Also tallied an 8-15 mark in doubles play and paired with both Ruben Vanoppen and Arnav Mohanty during the season.
2015 (Freshman):
- Recorded a 14-9 singles mark on the season, including a 7-2 record at the number three spot.
- Named the SoCon Freshman of the Year.
- Also earned a spot on the All-Freshman Team.
- Tallied a 12-9 mark in doubles play, including an 11-6 record when paired with Anderson Scarpa.
BEFORE MERCER:
- Sported a career-best International Tennis Federation (ITF) ranking on No. 926 in the world.
- Rising as high as the No. 8 singles player in all of Canada, Philp also showed he is a solid doubles player as well when he and his partner captured the ITF Junior Group Two Doubles Championship in October of 2013.
