The Dragons managed to score the last two goals of the quarter to retake the lead.
Drexel completely controlled the second quarter, outscoring the Bears 5-0 to take a six-goal lead into the halftime intermission by a score of 8-2. Mercer managed to cut the deficit to four goals at the end of the third but that would be as close as the Bears got the rest of the way, as the Dragons won by a final score of 12-5.
