MACON – The Mercer men's soccer team fell to UAB, 1-0, at Betts Stadium on Monday night.
Tony Kim scored the eventual game-winning goal in the 15th minute off an assist by Ethan Schulz.
The Bears fired five of their seven total shots on goal. Henry Hampshaw saved three of the Blazers' four attempts on goal, including a jaw-dropping effort in the 41st minute. Eli Bannister, AJ Pama and Manza Masamuna completed the entire 90 minutes. Will Taylor led the Bears with three shots and two shots on goal during his 88-minute shift.
