GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Mercer University men's golf team wrapped up the third and final round of the Furman Intercollegiate on Sunday at the Furman University Golf Club in Greenville, S.C. The Bears finished the tournament with a three-day score of 889 (+25).

Mercer's final score of 889 (25-over) placed the team in 19th in the Furman Intercollegiate Field. The Bears shot a third round score of 301 (13-over). Georgia State ran away with the tournament title, scoring an 841 (23-under) over the three days. Harvard came in second place with a final score of 856 (8-under).
MERCER SPOTLIGHT
The best round of the day from a Mercer golfer was turned in by freshman Brennan Bogdanovich, who shot a 1-over 73. The freshman played a nearly flawless front nine, posting three birdies and one bogey for a 2-under 34. Bogdanovich finished the invite with a 222 (6-over).

"The guys got off to a slow start today and never were able to fully recover from it. The effort that we needed was there throughout the round but we just weren't able to make enough birdies to today."
