Just three and a half minutes later in the 58th minute, the Spartans added a third goal to give themselves more of a cushion with more than 30 minutes to play. The Bears kept pushing to get one past the Spartans, but UNCG was able to keep the Bears off the scoreboard as it held on for a 3-0 win.
