PONTE VERDE BEACH, Fla. – Mercer University freshman Mary Augusta Janiga paced the women's golf team at the Web.com Intercollegiate, finishing 14th to lead the team to an 11th place finish at Marsh Landing Country Club.

THE BEARS IN THE TEAM STANDINGS
Mercer carded a 21-over 309 in the final round to finish in a tie for 11th with a three-round total of 909. Middle Tennessee State won the event, while Campbell and North Florida rounded out the top three.
MERCER SPOTLIGHT
Janiga rebounded from a slow start to record her second straight Top-15 finish and fourth total this season, carding three-straight birdies on the back nine to finish with a 4-over 76. Her 11 birdies in the tournament tied for third out of the field's 90 competitors.
