Bears place 28th overall in 6K race

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Five Bears competed in the 2017 NCAA South Regional at Harry Pritchett Running Park on Friday, highlighted by sophomore Ania Grzeszczak, who finished the 6K race in a team-best 22 minutes and 3.50 seconds.

The Bears placed 28th overall at the event with a total time of 1:58.17.60. All five Bears finished with their best 6K times of the season. Ole Miss (1:42:05.20) won the regional race, followed by Georgia (1:41:31.70) and Southern Conference foe Samford (1:42.16.60).
