COACH'S CORNER
On the Play of the Post Players
"I was really proud of our post players on both sides of the ball," said Head Coach Susie Gardner. "The post players finished with 23 of our 54 points. They [Georgia] were bigger than us so we decided to go man-to-man in the second half. Georgia only had 12 offensive rebounds and we had 11 offensive boards. Our post players have heart and they played well tonight. We are seeing that we can rely on the post players down the stretch."
Â
On the Difficulty of the Schedule
"I wanted the best schedule that we could get this year and we have a really difficult schedule," stated Gardner. "This schedule will allow us to see many different scenarios that we may face in conference play. Our weaknesses will be exposed and we will be able to grow from them."
