GREENSBORO, Ga. – The tee shots and fairways were unkind to Mercer Monday as the Bears struggled in the second round of the Linger Longer Invitational, dropping two spots to 15^th. Brennan Bogdanovich, competing as an individual had the best round of the day (E) while Justin Connelly (+4) and Jerry Ren (+4) led the team among the countable scores.

MERCER ON THE TEAM LEADERBOARD
The Bears dropped two spots to 15^th but finished the day just three strokes behind VCU. Mercer enters the final round of play at 26-over-par. Fourth-ranked Baylor has seemingly run away from the field at 26-under-par while Alabama (-9) and No. 8 Virginia (-9) are tied for second.

MERCER ON THE INDIVIDUAL LEADERBOARD
Brennan Bogdanovich, competing as an individual, was the most successful Bear in Monday's action with an even-par round of 72. That moved him up 18 spots to a tie for 32^nd and he is the third-highest placed individual on the leaderboard entering the clubhouse after two rounds.

COACH KAYDENT'S THOUGHTS
"We got off to a slow start Monday and struggled to recover. Our par-5 play needs improvement along with our wedge play on the short par-4s. This young team has shown they can rebound like they have in the past and I look forward to seeing that tomorrow."

TUESDAY'S PAIRINGS
Mercer will begin its tee times starting at 9 a.m. and teeing off every 10 minutes on Hole 10. The Bears will be paired with Maryland and VCU in the final round of action.
