GREENSBORO, Ga. – Mercer had three golfers shoot par or better Tuesday as the Bears climbed one spot to tie for 14^th at the Linger Longer Invitational.

Jerry Ren carded a 1-under-par 71 while Justin Connelly and Stanton Schorr each carded even-par rounds of 72 on the final day of action at the Greatwaters Golf Course.

MERCER ON THE TEAM LEADERBOARD
With one of the better rounds on the day, Mercer moved up into a tie for 14^th with VCU as play came to a close at the Linger Longer Invitational. The Bears finished at 28-over-par while Michigan was just ahead of Mercer at 16-over-par. No. 4 Baylor won the team title at 33-under-par.

MERCER ON THE INDIVIDUAL LEADERBOARD
Mercer put two golfers at 3-over-par and tied for 37^th with Justin Connelly leading the way while Brennan Bogdanovich, competing as an individual, matched that score. Jerry Ren was two strokes behind the pair at 5-over-par, placing tied for 46^th. Georgia's Greyson Sigg was the medalist at 16-under-par.

COACH KAYDEN'S TAKE
"The guys were obviously much improved today shooting 290 which is our best score of the spring season. I am proud of their efforts. They did a good job. We had four guys at 75 or better today and that is what we need on a more consistent basis."

NEXT UP
The Bears will head to Augusta, Georgia for their next tournament when the 3M Augusta Invitational tees off on April 1.
