AUGUSTA, Ga. – Brennan Bogdanovich shot a team-best round of 6-under-par 66 and posted the best single round of any Bear this year as play opened at the 3M Augusta Invitational at Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta.

TEAM LEADERBOARD
Thanks to a strong second round, Mercer is 13^th in the field, eight strokes behind UAB. Illinois and New Mexico tied for the team lead at 19-under-par while UCF was third at 17-under-par.

INDIVIDUAL LEADERBOARD
Brennan Bogdanovich was on fire, especially in the second round, as his 6-under-par 66 was one of the best rounds of the tournament and one of the best single rounds of the season for Mercer. Bogdanovich enters the final round tied for 18^th, just two strokes outside of the top 10.

COACH KAYDEN'S TAKE
"The guys did a good job in the second round there. They guys shot an even-par 288 and that is the best single round of the spring so we are trending in the right direction. It was just a tremendous round by Brennan Bogdanovich, I am really proud of his efforts today. He shot 66 with just one bogey and that is just such a tremendous round, a career round for his time at Mercer. That is also the low round of the spring for us. That got us into our best position this spring, as far as 18-hoel scoring. This tournament has a tremendous field, a nationally-ranked field, and to shoot what we did (a 73 average) is well ahead of where we have been this spring. We are trending in the right direction and looking forward to finishing strong tomorrow."

SUNDAY'S PAIRINGS
Mercer will tee off in the final round Sunday morning with tee times starting every 10 minutes beginning at 9:45 a.m. on Hole No. 10. The Bears will be paired with Army West Point and USC Aiken.
