Three-day tournament begins Friday at Vanderbilt Legends Club

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Mercer women's golf team continues its fall slate this weekend at the Mason Rudolph Championship, hosted by Vanderbilt University at its Legends Club North Course.

The three-day, 54-hole tournament will start Friday, Sept. 21; the 15-team field will play 18 holes each day on the par-72 course. Mercer is coming off a 10th-place finish at the Mary Fossum Invitational in East Lansing, Mich., which featured a talented field of seven NCAA Tournament teams from a year ago.

The same five Bears who played in East Lansing last weekend will represent Mercer this week in Tennessee, led by senior Terese Romeo, who tied for 17th individually in the first tournament of the season with a 3-over-par 219.
