Bears will split up for two meets on Saturday

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men's and women's cross country teams will split up this weekend to compete in a pair of meets on Saturday.

Mercer's men will run in the Greater Louisville Classic's 8K race at 9:30 a.m. at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer Park in Louisville, Ky. The Mercer women will take on nearly two dozen teams at the Upstate Invitational at the Roger Millken Center in Spartanburg, S.C. with their race starting at 9 a.m.

The Bears have competed at Jacksonville State's season opener event and the Commodore Classic, hosted by Vanderbilt, so far this season.
