
Todd Named CoSIDA Academic All-District

MACON, Ga.  –Mercer volleyball's Roberta Todd was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District IV First Team, as announced by the organization Thursday afternoon.

Mercer was one of four Southern Conference teams (Wofford, Chattanooga, and Western Carolina) to have a player named to the team.
Â
Todd, a junior majoring in biology, has played in 79 sets and has averaged 3.07 points per set. She has started in 19 of the 23 matches she has played in and has recorded 12 service aces so far. She has volunteered for multiple veterinary clinics/ animal sanctuaries, such as the Equestrian Association for the Disabled. There, she was honored to work with children with disabilities by using the horses as a form of therapy. Â Â Â

A student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average at his/her current institution to be nominated. First-Team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be announced in December.
