Men’s Soccer Faces UNCG in SoCon Championship

Mercer is looking for its third SoCon Tournament Title and first since 2017
MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men's soccer squares off with UNCG in the Southern Conference Championship on Sunday evening at the UNCG Soccer Complex. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
The winner of this year's tournament will receive the SoCon's automatic bid to the NCAA postseason. The NCAA Selection Show will air on NCAA.com on Monday, Nov. 18 at 1 p.m.

- Trevor Martineau ranks first in the SoCon in points, points per game, goals, goals per game, assists, assists per game, and tied for most game-winning goals. He has 36 points in 19 games. He has a SoCon high 13 goals and 10 assists this season.
- Trevor Martineau has tallied 61 points over his two years at Mercer, which is tied for ninth all-time in Mercer history.
- The 10 assists for Martineau are fifth in the nation and his 13 goals rank him 11th in the nation. His 36 points on the season are the fifth most in the NCAA and he is only three points being Robbie Robinson of Clemson and Miguel Berry of San Diego for the NCAA lead.
- Martineau has scored 22 goals in his career for the Bears, which is eighth all-time.
- The Bears have the third-best goals-against average in the SoCon. Mercer is only allowing 1.33 goals per game this season. In 19 games, the Bears have allowed 26 goals. JR DeRose has five shutouts this season the most in the SoCon.
