Martineau Earns USC All-South Region Honors

MACON, Ga. – Mercer men's soccer player Trevor Martineau was named to the United Soccer Coaches (USC) All-South Region Third Team. Martineau is one of two players from the Southern Conference to be named to the All-South Region squad.

Martineau's appearance on the USC All-South Region Third Team marks the sixth consecutive season that a Mercer Bear was named to a regional squad and seventh out of the last eight campaigns.

Martineau led the SoCon and Bears in goals (14), assists (10), and points (38) this season. Against VMI this season, Martineau scored four goals, a career-high in a single contest. His 38 points and 10 assists were sixth best in the NCAA and his 14 goals scored were 11^th best.

Martineau earned First Team All-SoCon honors for the second straight year this season. Martineau is the only player in the NCAA with 10 or more goals and 10 or more assists this season. He earned four Southern Conference Player of the Week honors, the most for any SoCon Player this year. He was also named September SoCon Player of the Month.
