Rhatigan records career-high four goals
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Mercer fell to UC Davis, 16-13, in a neutral matchup in Jacksonville, Fla. on Sunday despite a hat trick by Hailey Rhatigan.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Despite UC Davis earning the first goal of the game, Lily Morin notched back-to-back goals to give the Bears the new advantage. Mercer continued with a 3-1 run, including goals by Eva Thorn, Catie Snee and Hailey Rhatigan before the Aggies sparked a 4-1 jump to reclaim the lead 8-6 at half.

Mercer's Sami Van Slyke halted an Aggie 4-0 second half run with scoring her first goal of the season. UC Davis notched one more goal before starting a six-minute scoring drought for both teams. The final 13 minutes was won by the Bears, earning six goals to UC Davis's three, but it would not be enough to take back the lead. The Aggies walked away with the 16-13 win.
