Mercer opens four-game week against in-state foe
MACON, Ga. – Peach State bragging rights will be on the line when Mercer opens a four-game week against in-state foe Georgia Tech at 6 p.m. Tuesday at OrthoGeorgia Park.

Mercer (11-10) and Georgia Tech (13-7) will meet for the 169th time in a series that goes back to 1897. Tuesday's contest will be streamed live on ESPN+ and have live stats available.

MIDWEEK LINEUP
The Yellow Jackets are 13-7 overall entering Tuesday's clash in Macon and are coming off an ACC series win over Virginia at home. Georgia Tech has yet to drop a mid-week game, going 5-0 against in-state opponents Georgia State, Georgia Southern and Kennesaw State.

The Jackets' lineup (.291 overall batting average) is led by junior catcher Kyle McCann, who owns a .400 average with 12 home runs and 30 RBI through 20 games played. Right-hander Amos Willingham is expected to start on the mound for GT; he is 2-0 with a 3.92 ERA in 20.2 innings pitched.
