Mercer Women Primed for SoCon Championship

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – The Mercer women's golf team will open the 2019 Southern Conference Championship on Sunday at the Moss Creek Golf Club.

The three-day, 54-hole tournament will be played on the Moss Creek Golf Club South Course, which is a par-72 measured at 5,980 yards. Live results will be provided via Golfstat.com.

Mercer enters the tournament ranked No. 63 by Golfstat after a pair of individual team titles under its belt during the 2018-19 season. The winner of the 26^th edition of the SoCon Championship will earn the league's automatic bid to the NCAA regionals. The NCAA field will be announced live on the Golf Channel at 5:30 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday, April 24.
