Bears head to Tallahassee to play Florida A&M

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer volleyball squad will travel down to Tallahassee, Fla. for the first road match of the season against Florida A&M, Tuesday at 6 p.m.

SERIES HISTORY
The Bears and Rattlers have met 29 times over the years. Last season the Bears took the match in three straight sets, yet Florida A&M leads the all-time series 21-8.

NOTABLES

Mercer is coming off a 2-1 tournament win against Georgia Southern and Campbell-the loss coming from Nicholls State.
Emilee Wissmach and Brittany Major earned All-Tournament Honors- Wissmach recording 40 digs, Major recording 24 kills.
Sophomore Annie Karle leads the team in kills with 34, 3.09 kills per set. She also leads the team with 42.5 points, 3.86 per set.
Alexia Morey and Jaida Howell are tied with 8.0 blocks, the most on the team.

SCOUTING FLORIDA A&M
Florida A&M goes into the match after a tough 2-3 loss against Jacksonville State Saturday at the MEAC/SWAC Challenge in Montgomery, Alabama. They welcome back ten faces, including senior Maria Yvett Garcia who led the team in kills with 383. They finished the 2018 season 11-16.
