MACON, Ga.  – The Mercer volleyball squad will travel down to Tallahassee, Fla. for the first road match of the season against Florida A&M, Tuesday at 6 p.m.

The Bears and Rattlers have met 29 times over the years. Last season the Bears took the match in three straight sets, yet Florida A&M leads the all-time series 21-8.

Florida A&M goes into the match after a tough 2-3 loss against Jacksonville State Saturday at the MEAC/SWAC Challenge in Montgomery, Alabama. They welcome back ten faces, including senior Maria Yvett Garcia who led the team in kills with 383. They finished the 2018 season 11-16.

- Alexia Morey and Jaida Howell are tied with 8.0 blocks, the most on the team.
