Women’s Basketball to Host Tipoff Picnic

Mercer kicks-off season with picnic Oct. 17
MACON, Ga. – Mercer women's basketball will host its annual Tip Off event on October 17 with an outdoor picnic at Morgan View Farm – located just west of Macon on Shi Road.

The event, set to begin at 6 p.m. that evening, will allow fans to meet and greet the entire women's basketball team and coaching staff before the program begins its 2019-20 season. The dress code is casual and it will be a rain or shine event.

"We're very excited to introduce our fans to all the new faces on our 2019-20 team at the picnic," head women's basketball coach Susie Gardner said. "It's going to be a fun, casual, family-oriented event with great food and a chance to mingle with our team."
