Mercer played its first home match of the season against the Bulldogs

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer Women's Tennis team opened its home slate with a strong 7-0 statement victory over Alabama A&M on Saturday afternoon.

The Bears took the first point of the afternoon by sweeping the doubles matches. Maeva Roquebert got things started in singles action with a 6-2, 6-0 victory in the top flight before Marie Mottet (No. 5) and Mary Courville (No. 3) picked up a pair of wins to secure the victory for Mercer.
