MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men's golf team begins its spring schedule at the Invitational at Savannah Harbor, hosted by William & Mary, on Saturday and Sunday.

Mercer's five golfers will tee off on the sixth hole as part of a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Mercer will be in a single, five-man group to limit the interaction between the other competitors due to COVID-19.

COACH KAYDEN'S TAKE
"We're looking forward to the first tournament at Savannah Harbor. It's a position-type of golf course where keeping the ball in play off the tee is going to a premium this week. We had a good qualifier in some adverse weather conditions for the guys. We're confident that they can play well this week. We've got some seniors in Tyler Copp and Lino Galdin who have played a lot of golf in their careers here at Mercer, and they're going to be good leaders for us on and off the course."
