"Our staff is very excited to add Sara to this year's signing class," said head coach Tony Economopoulos. "She comes from a well-respected club in the [Houston] Dash. "She has great vision and is a tactically skilled player who will help strengthen our midfield."
Engels has been a part of the Dash for 10 years. The club is under the direction of Omar Morales and Mark Gibbs and is ranked 24th among U18 clubs according to Top Drawer Soccer.
