The Bears return to competition after a 13-day layoff

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer women's golf team returns to action after having 13 days off from competition as it prepares for the Pinetree Women's Collegiate on Monday and Tuesday.

Payton Schanen, the 101st-ranked golfer in the country, is one of seven golfers in the field ranked inside the top-125, along with: #2 Beatrice Wallin (Florida State), #11 Charlotte Heath (Florida State), #23 Tai Anudit (Kennesaw State), #48 Amelia Williamson (Florida State), #64 Cecilie Finne-Ipsen (Charlotte) and #110 Taylor Roberts (Florida State).

Mercer's five scoring golfers will be paired up into three-somes with Florida State and Penn State and will tee off from the first four tees at 8:30 a.m. as part of a shotgun start. Laila Hrindova will start on the fifth tee box alongside individual competitors from Florida State and Penn State, while Eujin Pyon will begin at the seventh tee alongside golfers from East Carolina and Rugers.
