Five Star Stadium to Have 100 Percent Capacity This Fall

Mercer football games will be at 100 percent capacity for the 2021 season
MACON, Ga. – Mercer University Athletics announced on Thursday that it will be at 100 percent capacity at Five Star Stadium for the 2021 season. The Bears open their season Thursday, Sept. 2 against Point University.

"We are thrilled to welcome back all of our great Bears fans to Five Star Stadium this fall," stated Associate Athletics Director Daniel Tate. "Five Star Stadium has one of the best game day experiences in all of college football. Our coaches and players are excited to be able to take the field in front of a full stadium and have incredible home field advantage. We are looking forward to seeing all of Middle Georgia on September 2 for our season opener and throughout the season."Â

The Bears' home slate includes Point, Samford, VMI, Wofford and Chattanooga. VMI advanced to the FCS playoffs for the first time in program history following the 2021 spring season.
