Receive commemorative ticket and pin with donation
The Mercer Athletic Department and the Mercer Athletic Foundation are pleased to announce a commemorative package to celebrate the Bears 10-year anniversary of returning to the gridiron. Donors who make a gift of $25 or more to Mercer Football's Endowment, The 1892 Fund will receive a specialty '10 years of Mercer Football' pin and novelty ticket. Â
Established in August 2021, by Dr. Gary L. Abbott, Sr. (CLA 1969), Mrs. Billie Abbott (CLA 1969), Mr. G. Louis Abbott, JR. (CLA 1999), and Mrs. Jana Abercrombie-Abbott, the 1892 Fund was named in commemoration of "the first intercollegiate football game in the Deep South" between Mercer University and the University of Georgia. This fund enhances the football team's operating budget and expenditures from the fund are determined by the head football coach and Athletic Director. Â

Please make checks payable to the Mercer Athletic Foundation and place "The 1892 Fund" on the note line.Â
