Mercer Looks For Second Straight Title
Johnson City, Tenn.,– The Mercer men's soccer team moves into the Southern Conference Tournament, looking to repeat as champions. The quarterfinal game is against Virginia Military Institute on Friday, in Johnson City, Tennessee.

The Bears are 16-0-0 all time against the VMI Keydets. In this years game in Lexington on Oct. 22, the Bears got goals from Nick Wanzer on a header from a free kick, and Kadeem Agard headed in a throw-in giving he Bears a 2-0 win.

VMI is coming off a hard fought 2-1 loss to Furman in its regular season finale. VMI also had a one goal loss to regular season champion North Carolina-Greensboro, 1-0.
