The Bears Final Regular Season Week

MACON, GA - The Mercer volleyball team will be home on Wednesday for their last regular season home game this week against Samford. They will then travel to Wofford on Saturday.

NOTABLE BEARS

Annie Karle continues to lead the team in kills this season with 353 and averaging 3.75 per set. She was named the Offensive Player of the Week for the SoCon this week after a phenomenal performance against Furman.
Kiera McCarles continues to be a key component for the Bears as she leads the teams in assists (827) averaging 8.80 per set.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Samford improved to 15-11 overall and 10-4 in SoCon play after a shutout against The Citadel this past weekend. The Bulldogs lead the series 20-6 and defeated the Bears earlier this season. The Bears will have to watch out for outside hitter, Kenya McQuirter, who leads the team in kills (363) this season.

SCOUTING THE TERRIERS
Wofford sits 15-11 overall (7-7 SoCon) and is coming off a two-match win streak . Wofford leads the series 13-12 but lost to Mercer earlier this season in Hawkins. Wofford is home to Sarah Barham who has over 300 career blocks and is an active leader in career blocks for the conference.
