Only five returners are on the 2023-24 roster - Jah Quinones, Michael Zanoni, Jalen Cobb, Jalyn McCreary, and TJ Grant. McCreary was named to the Preseason All-Southern Conference Team in later October after capturing 3rd Team All-Southern Conference accolades last season. Quinones earned postseason accolades last season as well as as member of the Southern Conference All-Freshman team. Last year's squad turned in a 14-19 record (6-12 SoCon) and advanced to the second round of the conference tournament before falling to top-seeded Furman.
Clark Atlanta won its first exhibition game this season vs. Carolina Christian College, 93-42, and lost at Georgia Tech, 91-75. The 2022-23 version of the Panthers finished the season with an 8-20 overall record (7-14 SIAC). He was a member of two SIAC Championship teams during his playing career at Clark Atlanta.
Following Monday's action at home, Mercer will hit the road on Thursday (November 9) to take on Chicago State. Tipoff is slated for 8 p.m. ET (7 p.m. local time).
