478 Day and Senior Day For Women's Basketball on February 11

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer Athletic Department announced a ticket promotion for Saturday's Women's Basketball game against ETSU on February 11th where two tickets can be purchased for $4.78 as part of the 478 Day promotion. SENIOR DAY
It is also senior day on Feb. 11 as we will recognize three players: Jaron Dougherty, Brittany Reeves, and Amoria Neal-Tysor.

Dougherty is a graduate student who has played five years at Mercer. She has over 1,400 points 800 rebounds in her career. She has been apart of two regular season SoCon championship teams, three conference tournament championships, and three NCAA Tournament teams.

Reeves is also a graduate student who transferred from Oklahoma State to return home to Macon, Georgia where she grew up. This season she has appeared in all 22 games, making 19 starts. Reeves had a double-double including a career-high 15 points earlier this season against South Alabama.

Neal-Tysor is the third player who will be recognized on Senior Day. Like Dougherty, she is in her fifth season at Mercer, winning two regular season championships, three conference tournament championships and has helped guide the Bears to three NCAA Tournament appearances. She was twice named SoCon Tournament MVP.

Neal-Tysor has scored over 1,600 points in her career. The last two seasons she has finished second in the SoCon in scoring at over 16 points per game and this year is third in the conference at 15.8 points per game.

The Senior Day ceremony will take place following the conclusion of the game.

The Bears tip off against ETSU at 2 p.m. The Buccaneers are 17-7 overall and 4-4 in Southern Conference play.
