No. 17 Football To Host Free Coaches Clinic On August 12

MACON – Football head coach Drew Cronic and the rest of his 2023-24 Mercer Bears coaching staff will host a free coaches clinic for community, recreational and little league coaches on August 12 following the Mercer Athletics Department's annual Fan Appreciation Day. The free clinic is open to coaches leading teams at the 6th grade level and below.

The event will take place at Five Star Stadium beginning at 6:30 p.m., and pizza will be provided to all attendees. Youth coaches will have the opportunity to attend practice and visit with members of the Mercer coaching staff. The clinic will provide attendees with the opportunity to coach their team and athletes by observing on-field demonstrations, position-specific drills and overall practice format and scripting that is applicable to all ages.
