
Nem Stefanovic Selected To ITA Conference Masters Tournament

Sefanovic will represent SoCon in tournament in November
MACON, Ga. - Mercer men's tennis junior Nemanja Stefanovic has been selected to represent the Southern Conference at the 2024 ITA Conference Masters Championships in November.
The tournament - held November 7-10 in Rome, Georgia - has a draw size of 32 singles and doubles players who will compete for a chance at qualifying for the NCAA Singles Championship. The four singles semifinalists will qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship in Waco, Texas later this fall.
Stefanovic received the honor of being selected as the SoCon's singles representative. A junior from Ontario, Canada, last season Stefanovic was named Second Team All-SoCon for singles. He rattled off a team-best seven wins during the 2024 spring season as Mercer's No. 1 singles player, including a pair of triumphs against SoCon competition.
Each Division I conference designated one singles player and one doubles team from each gender to participate in the ITA Conference Masters Championships. Mercer's Hod'Abalo Isak Padio and Amen Prince Gandonou were selected as the SoCon's doubles alternates.
